Met Éireann warns of hazardous driving conditions in Laois as fog warning remains in place

Met Éireann has warned of hazardous driving conditions in Laois as a status yellow fog warning remains in place.


The warning for widespread mist and fog will be in place from 6pm on Tuesday until 10am on Wednesday morning, November 13. The forecaster is warning of poor visibility for motorists and caution is urged. 


"Tonight will be calm with areas of mist and fog developing. Dry, apart from the odd spot of drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees with a touch of frost under clearer skies," said Met Éireann.


"Wednesday will see any overnight mist and fog clearing with mostly cloudy skies for the day. While there will be a good deal of dry weather, it will be damp in places with patches of mist and drizzle. Highest temperatures 10 to 12 degrees in light variable breezes."
