Portlaoise Pantomime Group’s 40th anniversary production will not be impacted by ongoing roadworks but audiences are being advised to arrive early.
The Dunamaise and Arts Centre issued an important notice to those attending ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ this week.
“Church Street is closed to traffic with roadworks right outside our main door.
The main front door at our steps will be open as usual for pedestrian access, as well as access as usual via Main Street courtyard, accessible entry.
Please allow a few extra minutes ahead of your arrival to avoid any resulting delays,” they stated.
Portlaoise Pantomime Group are proudly presenting their 40th anniversary production of Jack and the Beanstalk with 11 hilarious shows from January 18 to 25. Tickets are on sale from www.dunamaise.ie
The show coincides with sewer connection works which are taking place on Church Street from Tuesday to Thursday, January 21 to 23 between 9am and 6pm.
Laois County Council said any objections or observations can be emailed to: bduggan@shareridge.ie and copy to wwilkinson@laoiscoco.ie and squinn@laoiscoco.ie
