Laois Domestic Abuse Services will give a talk in Portlaoise on Monday, June 9.
Established in November 2006, Laois Domestic Abuse Service is a non governmental organisation, and a registered charity.
They are the only specialist service in Laois working to provide group programmes, support, information, counselling and advocacy services to women and children/young people subjected to domestic abuse and coercive control.
The charity supports the right of everyone to 'live and grow in a peaceful non-violent home environment', and to promote a culture of 'responsibility and equity'.
The talk in Portlaoise has been organised by the ARC Project, which was created to support the needs of Laois families expressed by the addiction recovery community.
The guest speaker event will take place on Monday June 9 from 7pm to 8pm at Laois Partnership Building (Room 4 Prefab) New Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, R32 VY22.
"Join us to hear about the vital work they do, and how we can all support safety, healing, and change," the ARC project said.
"Don’t miss this powerful session. All are welcome!" they finished.
