The second Laois town or village to star in RTÉ's Operation Transformation Ad Break Challenge has been revealed.
Last Thursday December 29, the first of this years Laois based Operation Transformation Ad Break Challenges was recorded at Court Square, Stradbally.
Ann Simpson was the first Ad Break Hero from the County, leading the challenge with OT's fitness expert Karl Henry.
Each week the Ad Break Challenge will move to a different area-to showcase the wonderful people, places groups, teams and organisations in Laois.
Stradbally woman Ann was chosen as the first Ad Break Hero because of her enthusiasm, her positive outlook on and how she positively embraces a healthy lifestyle.
Like most people Ann has had her own challenges in life, but has overcome them all and is now looking forward to a happy and healthy retirement.
This recording will go out as part of Operation Transformation’s episode 1 on RTE 1 on Wednesday January 4 after the 9 O’Clock News.
Make sure to tune in where you will be guaranteed to see plenty of places and faces from Stradbally, Vicarstown , Timahoe and #LovelyLaois.
On January 6 it will be the turn of Vicarstown to lead the Ad Break Challenge, at Annanough GAA grounds, with their very own Ad Break Hero to be revealed, put that date in your diary.
