It’s another packed weekend of the best live music at Lethean Bar on Portlaoise Main Street.

First up, this Friday, November 25, Radio Nowhere will be taking to the stage.

Radio Nowhere are a local two piece Laois band made up of Barry Kelly and Tadgh Kirwan. The energetic acoustic duo cover a wide range of genres including rock, pop and folk from the 60s to the present. Radio Nowhere are renowned for getting the crowd on their feet with their upbeat style.

They are kicking off in Lethean at 10.30pm.

The on Saturday, November 26, The Wotnots are playing.

The Wotnots are newly formed local Portlaoise band, consisting of Niall Harney on bass, Paul Flynn on drums and the legendary Brian O’Mahony on guitar and vocals.

They play an eclectic mix of music ranging from 80s to 90s. This exciting new act is one not to be missed and they are playing Lethean main bar this Saturday at 10.30pm.

Rounding off the weekend, on Sunday it’s Acoustic Roots, hosted by Bill Harney.

Acoustics Roots, a new once a month event, is an intimate session with a host of the best of local talent in a relaxed atmosphere doing what they do best.

So if you like a chilled out vibe and generally fun atmosphere then drop in the last Sunday of every month from 8pm.
