Portlaoise rock band Strength In Numbers have cancelled this week's gig in Portlaoise following the death of former member Tony Payne.
"We just got the very sad news this morning that ex band member and friend Tony Payne passed away suddenly, Kavanagh's gig for this Friday night has been cancelled out of Sadness & Respect. RIP Tony," said a post on the bands facebook page.
Strength In Numbers have been making music together for the last three decades.
