Help your child find their voice with speech classes

A series of workshops start this week at the Dunamaise Arts Centre aimed at improving children’s elocution while encouraging them to truly express themselves through speech.

Has your child difficulties with their “th” sounds? Do they say “Ya” instead of “Yes”? or "Sawd" instead of “Saw”? Then the Speak Out drama lessons could be for them.

These elocution lessons will help your child overcome these difficulties using a range of drama strategies, poetry and communication exercises, enabling your child to speak clearly and effectively.

The workshops emphasize the importance of building confidence and self-esteem whilst improving your child's ability to speak out.

The workshops run weekly on Tuesdays, from January 23 until, May 1. The cost is €120 and the classes take place 4pm to 4.45pm for ages 4-7, and 5pm to 5.45pm for ages 8-12.

Contact the box office to secure a place.

Places are limited and payment installments are welcome.
