There’s a moving romantic tale on the big screen at the Dunamaise Arts Centre for Valentine’s Day next week.
'Breathe' is the inspiring true love story of Robin and Diana Cavendish, an adventurous couple who refuse to give up in the face of a devastating diagnosis.
After contracting polio at 28, Robin is given months to live. With help from his wife, family and the groundbreaking ideas of inventor Teddy Hall, they escape the hospital ward to seek out a full and passionate life together, devoting their lives to helping other polio patients.
Directed by Andy Serkis, this 2017 UK-made film stars Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy and Hugh Bonneville.
The film screens at 11am on Tuesday, February 13, with tickets priced €6/€5, and again at 8pm on Wednesday, February 14, with tickets priced €7/€5.
