Dunamaise Arts Centre are delighted to welcome Bombinate theatre with their highly acclaimed and award-winning family and school show Half Light on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 March.
Half Light is an award-winning play for families and children aged 8+ combining theatre, comedy, live music and storytelling.
‘Imagine this: you’re walking up a mountain, through a forest of pine trees and you’re trying to find your Dad. He’s been taken by a monster.’
Meet Robin, a ten-year-old boy travelling through the magical woodland of his father’s illustrated storybook on a treacherous rescue mission. A tale which is as true as it is untrue. Half dark and half light.
The Thursday evening performance is audio described and captioned and a Touch Tour, facilitated by Arts & Disability Ireland with funding from the Arts Council, will be available before the show from 6pm.
Arts and Disability Ireland, who are collaborating with this event, build sustainable collaborations with strategic arts organisations so as to champion the arts and disability agenda more effectively. They advocate on behalf of artists and audiences with disabilities, for a more inclusive arts sector.
Families and groups are welcome on Thursday March 8 at 7pm and tickets are priced €10 or €35 for a family of four. Schools are welcome on Friday March 9 at 10am and a group rate of only five applies.
