Condolences to the family of the late Patrick Daly Fossey Upper, Timahoe who died on January 11. Deeply regretted by his brothers Andrew and Sean, sister Pollie, extended family. relatives and friends. Reposing at the Convent Chapel of Rest, Stradbally. Removal to St Michael’s Church, Timahoe, requiem mass with burial immediately afterwards in St Michael’s Cemetery, Timahoe.

GAA

Training has commenced for the footballers under the management of Tom Mc Kettrick. Tom is well experienced and we wish him all the very best. The club are selling the annual €130 tickets at present, your support is greatly received. The club have purchased land recently and will have a new fence around the pitch in the coming weeks. We are investing all monies and all support is appreciated. Well done to Ciaran Lennon who has been called into the Laois panel for the O’Byrne cup to join fellow club men Brendan Quigley, Damien O’Connor and Eoin Culleton.

Meeting back as normal all new leaders are welcome.

SCHOOL

Well done to the local NS who again won their category at the Young Scientist expo last week, the teachers staff and most of all the kids are to be commended.
