The Limerick hurlers seem unstoppable now even dogs in the county are picking up huge prizes - well sort of.
Patsy Dalton from Galbally in Co Limerick made his way to Laois on Friday, March 24 with his wife Philomena and his bestie pooch Toby, (whose name was on the ticket), for the presentation of the John Deere tractor worth €100,000 won in the Clough Vision Group’s fundraising draw for Clough Community Centre. Patsy, who bought his ticket online, was presented with the keys by Vision Chairperson Olga Hyland and photographer Alf Harvey was on hand to catch the presentation on camera.
