Gardens raise thousands in big boost for vital Laois Hospice care

Laois Hospice has been boosted with two large donations following open days earlier this year.

Enda Thompson Phelan of Clonohill Gardens, Coolrain presented a cheque for €7,780 to Mary Delaney (Chairperson, Laois Hospice. The money was raised at an open weekend at Clonohill Gardens during the summer.

Meanwhile, Hazel Luskin of Gortnalee Gardens, Donaghmore presented a cheque for €1,834.56 cents to the hospice raised from an open Day at the Gardens this year.
