Donald Trump owns the Doonbeg Golf Resort in Co Clare

Colt GAA club and the local national school in Raheen have teamed up to raise funds to realise ambitious plans do develop a community centre attached to the GAA club.

The club and Tobar an Leinn Parents Association have turned to golf as one of the fundraising avenues and have lined up a special set of prizes.

The second annual golf classic features a first prize of a four-ball round of golf, dinner and B&B at the Trump International Hotel in Doonbeg, Co Clare.

Team of Four €200 includes food. Tee time is secured upon payment.

The other prizes are: 

  • Second Prize 4 Ball The K Club
  • Third Prize 4 Ball Druids Glen
  • Ladies Prize 4 Ball The Heritage, Killenard
  • Other prizes on the day, including longest drive and nearest the pin.

The four-ball scramble takes place at The Heath Golf Club near Portlaoise on May 24 and 25.
