Old bridge discovered in Laois village rebuilt

The old bridge uncovered by Laois County Council.

An old bridge discovered by Laois County Council in Clonaslee has been rebuilt, much to the delight of locals. 


Clonaslee Tidy Towns thanked the local authority for their efforts after uncovering the old bridge which was damaged. 


"Laois County Council recently uncovered a very old Bridge on the approach to Tinnahinch Bridge from Clonaslee, it was very damaged, so it needed to be rebuilt. The area around the bridge was also cleaned. Thank you to Bill Dempsey, Laois County Council team and Cllr Seamus McDonald for the great work done," said the local tidy towns group.
