Loved Laois rescue dog makes full recovery

Cooper is making a full recovery after recently facing a medical emergency. 

Abbeyleix House and Farm has shared the news that their beloved estate dog Cooper is making a full recovery after recently facing a medical emergency. 

Cooper is one of a number of rescue dogs that live on the estate which are "cherished family members and loved by everyone who visits".


Providing an update on Cooper's recovery Abbeyleix House and Farm said: "We have some heartfelt news about one of our beloved estate dogs, Cooper. Some of you would have met Cooper for the first time at our recent Family Day event. Most of you know Cooper from previous encounters. Like most animals here at Abbeyleix House and Farm, Cooper is a rescue dog. From his first day on the estate, he crept into our hearts. Recently, Cooper faced a medical emergency and had to undergo surgery. 


"It was a challenging time for all of us here at Abbeyleix House and Farm, filled with worry and concern. But we're overjoyed to report that Cooper is now home and on his way to making a full recovery! His strength and resilience have been truly inspiring, and we couldn't be prouder of our brave boy."
