Laois gardaí deliver Easter treat after act of kindness

A group of boys in Ballyroan got an early Easter treat this week when local gardaí stopped by with a special delivery.
The young men were treated to some Easter eggs after an act of kindness they had shown while Laois gardaí were conducting a checkpoint in the area. READ MORE BELOW PHOTO
"Sergeant Carey and Garda Quinlan were conducting a checkpoint in the hot weather in Ballyroan recently when these young men kindly stopped and offered us some ice cream," said a garda spokesperson.
"A very kind offer which we unfortunately could not accept, but to say thanks for the generous gesture and act of kindness, we popped back out there with some Easter eggs for them."
