Two mental health charities and the Mountrath Women's Shed are set to get a boost from an upcoming tractor run fundraiser held in memory of a Laois man who died suddenly in 2021.
The latest edition of the Rev for Trev 2025 Tractor Run takes place on Sunday, May 11 in Mountrath and surrounding areas.
The organisers say previous years have delivered fun for all ages while raising funds for good community causes and they say this year will be no different.
They say they are bringing back all the great events, including the kiddies' tractor run, plus much more.
This year, they are proud to support Teac Tom and Jigsaw, two incredible charities working to support mental health in our communities.
Teac Tom provides vital mental health support, offering free counselling services and crisis intervention for those in need. Their mission is to ensure that no one has to face their struggles alone.
Jigsaw is dedicated to young people’s mental health, offering support, resources, and guidance to help young people navigate life’s challenges and build resilience for the future.
The run will also support the Women's Shed in Mountrath with funds raised on the day.
Rev for Trev Kids tractor run takes place on Sunday, May 11 at Mountrath Mart from 1.30 pm. Registration for the main run takes place from noon with departure at 2.30 pm

Trevor was well known across the country for his fencing work through the family business, Wallace Fencing, and for his time spent at Gurteen Agricultural College.
He was respected by for his work ethic and skill, but also for his character, a kind and generous man with a passion for farming and the people around him. The Rev for Trev fundraiser is the result of his family and friends coming together to honour his memory in a way that reflected both his life and values and to campaign for change in mental health.
