A Laois town will experience water and traffic disruptions due to ongoing step testing works.

Graiguecullen may experience supply disruptions to The Mall, Graiguecullen and surrounding areas due to these leak detection works.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

These works are scheduled to take place daily from 8am to 6pm from Monday to Friday June 20.

"Water supply may take 3-4 hours to fully return to all affected properties," a spokesperson for Uisce Éireann has said.

For more updates on the works and traffic management system, search the reference number LAO00094253 on the Uisce Éireann website.
