Camross NS in conjunction with Castletown NS,Kilanure NS, Rushall NS, and Roscomroe NS, are hosting a seminar/information night for parents/guardians on internet safety in Camross Hall on Wednesday, March 20 at 8.00pm. Karl Petrie from eSafety is the tutor on the night.

Whist Drive

We had no whist drive this week owing to bad weather.

Garden Fete

A garden Fete will be held on Easter Monday from 2pm to 500pm at the home of Dennis and Dorothy Delaney, Rossadown, Mountrath to raise funds for the Irish Wheelchair Association Sports. Their Granddaughter Sinead Keon is involved in the association. There will be Tombola, Wheel of Fortune, Cake stall, Lucky Dip, Bric a Brac, Teas, Coffees and much more. Congratulations to Ciaran Collier, Daniel Delaney, Craig Delaney and Wayne Mcarthy who were all part of the Colaiste Phobail hurling squad who beat Borrisokane in the senior vocational schools A Munster hurling final on Wednesday, March 6.The hurlers now go on to meet St Fergals, Rathdowney in the All Ireland semi final.

While Maeve Collier and Courtney Lally claimed All-Ireland senior camogie glory the following saturday.
