Schools table quiz

Schools table quiz

There will be a charity table quiz for secondary school pupils in Timahoe Community Hall on Saturday March 16 at 8pm. There will be a shop with refreshments on the night as well as a raffle with lots of great prizes. There will be trophies for the top placed school team and the overall winners. The quiz is being organised by local volunteers Tony Loughnane, Pierce Bennett and Paula Quigley who are fundraising for Serve. Serve is a charity which supports sustainable projects for adolescents living in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. All welcome.

Met last Friday night and organised their inclusion in the St Patrick’s Day parade.

TIDY TOWNS

Please help keep the village clean and tidy and support our annual Easter fundraiser which gathers funds to pay for the maintenance and running of the village lawnmower.

ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

All local clubs, organisations and associations are encouraged to part take in the annual St Patrick’s day parade. It’s a special event in the village every year, please support.

CAKE SALE

Timahoe National School in association with the parents council are organising a cake sale on St Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17 in the hall before and after 10.30am mass. Anyoney who wants to bake or donate anything please drop into the hall before mass. The hall will be open that morning from 9am. All welcome for tea/coffee. Your support would be much appreciated.

MEDLEY DAY

Medley day is on June 15/16 this year, in conjunction with the Gathering. Please if you have any relations/friends oversees encourage them home for this special day.
