Raheen Panto

Raheen is a hive of activity these days as the local Pantomime Group put the finishing touches to their 29th annual pantomime ,”Sinbad the Sailor” which runs from Thurs Jan 21 to Sun Jan 24. at 8pm nightly with Matinees on Sat Jan 23 and Sun Jan 24 at 3 pm. Producer/director John Hosey and Co-producer Pat Phelan have gone to great lengths to ensure that this production is the liveliest, funniest and most colourful ever seen in the Groups long and experienced history, and if it’s value for money you’re after you won’t get better than Raheen panto with nearly two and a half hours of nonstop laughter, music, song and dance all wrapped up in a blaze of colour and costume.

Heywood Community School, Ballinakill annual Enrolment night for prospective 1st year students and their parents/guardians takes place on Thursday January 21 at 7pm in the School Sports Hall.

Raheen Community Alert are holding a meeting on Monday 25 January at 8.30 pm in the ICA hall, Raheen. The meeting is open to all our neighbours.
