Danny Campbell has produced a high quality D.V.D recording of the unveiling ceremony at the newly developed 1916 Easter Rising commemorative garden at Derrycloney Bridge held on Sunday April 3.
The committee has donated a copy to Mountmellick Library for the publics use. A copy has also been donated to Laois County Council.

Fun for all at the Summerfest on Saturday and Sunday June 4 & 5. Activities in MDA grounds on Saturday and O’Connell Square on Sunday. Live music, entertainment, craft stalls games and a teddy bears picnic are some of the line-up. Mountmellick and its museum will be visited on June 4 at 3pm by a splendid parade of vintage cars as part of the Gordon Bennett Irish classic car run.
