Christmas present hunters should make their way to Mountrath Community School this week where the students may just have that perfect festive gift.
The Mountrath Community School craft fair always proves to be an enjoyable afternoon and is the perfect place to shop locally for Christmas.
Students and teachers will make sure there is a great Christmas feeling and a welcoming atmosphere on the day as Christmas music will be playing and the schools Christmas tree and beautiful hand painted crib scene will be on display.
There is a wide variety of goods for Christmas gifts and they vary greatly from each other from hand painted tea-light holders to baked goods and sweets, from portable USB keys to jewellery and make-up care products. Tea, coffee and small treats are also being sold.
The TY students will be selling their products as part of their Mini Company programme and the Student Enterprise programme. They will be promoting their products and advertising them to the customers. The Mini Company programme aims to show pupils how a business works.
The annual Christmas craft fair takes place this Friday, November 9, from 2pm to 5pm.
