Santa flies in for Christmas pop-up fair and GAA auction in Laois town

CHRISTMAS CRAFT

Christmas Fair Rathdowney

Brand Central Rathdowney hosts a Pop Up Christmas Fair this weekend in conjunction with a Rathdowney and Errill Gaa annual monster auction.

The day features a great variety of stalls with everything from fashion to furniture, craft to jewellery and Artisan food.

Santa will arrive at 1.30pm by horse drawn carriage. Santa visits are €5 per child with proceeds go to Laois Down Syndrome.

There will be auction of firewood and timber and set dancing gets underway at  4.30pm.

The day also features wheel of fortune and a raffle.

The GAA club says the auction gets underway soon after Santa's arrival at 2pm. The club said the event has been a very successful fundraiser in previous years so wrap up warm and come and show your support.

It promises great space to do some early Christmas  shopping and bag that special gift at Rathdowney retail hub.

Spaces can be booked through 087 2852153 or email popupvillage1@gmail.com

The fair and auction takes place on Sunday, November 19.
