It's Christmas craft month at Ravensdale Country Market
The popular Stradbally Country Markets Christmas Fair is sure to have lots of gifts and food perfect for the festivities.
Produce on offer includes home baking (breads, scones, biscuits, cakes and desserts), preserves (jams, jellies, chutneys), vegetables, free-range eggs, locally-produced honey, arts and crafts, are also regularly supplied.
"It will be a fantastic opportunity to get your entire Christmas shopping under one roof, with special orders catered for Christmas baking. Be sure and place your order for your locally grown Christmas tree.
"We are holding a Christmas draw in aid of the local branch of St Vincent De Paul. Do drop in for mulled wine and mince pies. Tickets for the Christmas draw will go on sale from Saturday 2nd December," say the organisers.
The fair takes place on Saturday 16 December, between 10am and 4pm in St Patrick's Hall, Stradbally.
Meanwhile, the Stradbally Flower and Garden Club Christmas Demonstration will be held on Wednesday, December 6 commencing at 8pm in St Joseph's Hall.
The demonstration will be given by Josephine from The Flower Shop in Monasterevin.
The club's Christmas dinner will be held in the Castle Durrow on Wednesday, December 13. Bus will leave from outside St Joseph's Hall at 7pm.
