Kelly Lou Ging, judge of Cupcake Carnival
A Portlaoise secondary school is doing their bit to support Daffodil Day this week, with some tasty cupcakes.
Scoil Chríost Rí is preparing for a Cupcake Carnival this Thursday March 15.
Portlaoise' celebrity baker Kelly Lou Ging, a regular on TV3, will judge a cupcake competition open to all the students to enter.

It will be followed by a sale of all the cupcakes, all in aid of the Irish Cancer Society's Daffodil Day.
Home Economics teacher Aine Thornton explains.
"All the students in the school will get a chance to buy a cupcake. We hope everyone will bring along a donation to support this worthy cause, which raises awareness also of cancer," said Ms Thornton.
It is the second year of the Cupcake Carnival.
"Last year was a trial run and it went really well, so we hope this year it is even bigger and better," she said.
