The congregation at a Cemetery Sunday Mass in St Joseph's cemetery, Mountmellick.
Bishop of Kildare & Leighlin Denis Nulty has been announced as the celebrant of Cemetery Sunday Mass in Mountmellick, Laois this Sunday.
The annual Mass attracts thousands of parishioners, who gather beside the graves of their loved ones to pray for them, in St Joseph's cemetery in Acragar.
This year it takes place at 3pm on Sunday July 29.
Mountmellick Parish announced that Bishop Nulty will attend.
"Inviting all families to join us for cemetery Sunday mass at 3pm on July 29. We look forward to welcoming Bishop Nulty as our Mass celebrant".
The nearby village of Rosenallis is also holding Cemetery Sunday on the day, after 11am Mass.
