CEMETERY MASSES

Bealady Cemetery mass will be held on this Friday night June 29 at 7.30pm. Errill Cemetery mass will be held on Wednesday July 4 at 7.30pm.

ST BERNADETTE’S HALL

St Bernadette’s Hall will not be available to any group on Wednesday July 4 due to the cemetery mass on that evening. Refreshments will be available to all attending the cemetery mass in the hall afterwards.

ERRILL GAA LOTTO

There was only one match three ticket on last Monday night who received €100. The numbers drawn were 13-20-23 and 27. Tickets available from GAA committee members, from local promoters and in local shop and pubs.

ERILL/RATHDOWNEY GAA RACE NIGHT

The annual Rathdowney/Errill race night takes place in Thurles Greyhound Track on Saturday July 7. Tickets €10. Buster race prize €1000. Free admission and race card with buster race ticket. Children admitted free. Please support.

ERRILL TIDY TOWNS

The first judging of the Laois County Council Inter Community Litter Challenge takes place on a date from June 25 to July 6. This year the format is different in that it is a knockout basis with the village receiving the highest marks going forward to the next round. There are two teams in our group, one with three villages and one with four villages. The top four villages will proceed to the next judging. It would help if residents could ensure that there is no litter around their own residence and if kerb-lines were swept and weeded.
