SHANAHOE LADIES FOOTBALL
Following a wonderful experience of social inclusion and fun through the medium of football in Feile Peil na nOg last weekend Shanahoe ladies football committee wish to thank all those who contributed to its sucess. Our U14 girls for their committment to the game of football, their parents for their relentless support, and our local GAA club for their assistance and the use of their club facilities. Appreciation also to all our sponsors on this occasion.
St Fintan’s Gaels hosted a very successful Féile weekend welcoming Enniskillen Gaels to our parish. Great credit is due to all who helped to make the weekend such a success. A special word of thanks to Colt club and their grounds people who had the pitch and surrounds in such splendid condition. To our host families who took wonderful care of our visiting team and mentors we thank you most sincerely as the weekend would not have been possible without your co-operation. Thanks also to the people who were responsible for cleaning and preparing the clubhouse. To our catering committee who provided such an array of refreshments and to all who baked cakes, buns and tarts for the weekend thanks very much. Our own team and their mentors who did us proud both on and off the field thanks very much. Last but by no means least a huge thank you to all from Enniskillen Gaels who were a pleasure to host and who made it such a memorable weekend for us.
Raheen PTAA will hold a whist drive on Friday nights during the month of July in the ICA hall Raheen commencing on Friday July 6 at 8.30pm sharp. Top score €50 plus lots of other prizes.
Everyone who has been named on our parish slate certificates living and deceased will be included in a special mass every Christmas and Easter. If anyone would like to add their name, a relations name, a new family members name or a friends name may do so at any time during the year by contacting Fr James Kelly or any member of the parish council.

Ó LEATHLOBHAIR CLAN
The Ó Leathlobhair Clan will travel to Dublin’s Glasnevin cemetery for a wreath laying ceremony on the grave of James Fintan Lalor one of our great Irish hero’s on Saturday June 30. The will also include a tour of Irish historical figures and visiting the new Glasnevin museum. Refreshments and food available. Enquiries to 086 8440875.
