Emo art and craft fair will be held on Sunday November 18 in the Community Centre, Emo, starting at 11am - 5pm.

Again this year we have a great array of gift ideas for all the family. Funds raised from the raffle on the day will go towards the proposed all-weather soccer pitch, so hope to see you there, it will be worth the trip.

Well done to Emo native Frank Moore (retired Laois Offaly Chief Superintendent) who is to be honoured by the gardaí with a Hall of Fame Award for his sporting achievements.

He receives his award at the Coiste Siamsa Garda Sportstar Awards Dublin on November 16. Frank retired as chief supt in Laois Offaly this year.
