PARKINSON’S AWARENESS WEEK
As part of national Parkinson’s Disease Awareness week which takes place from April 7 to 14.Martina and John Sinnott will be hosting a coffee and tea afternoon at their home in Ardlea from 2to 6 pm on Sunday April 14.
All proceeds raised will go to Parkinson’s Association of Ireland. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Raheen ladies club are hosting Cooking summer with Pat Carey of Doon House cookery school. It will take place in The Red Cross Centre, Raheen on Thursday 11 April at 7.30pm.
Admission €7 with all proceeds going to MS Ireland.
A table quiz in aid of Fr Eddie Lalor’s missionary work will take place in the Manor Hotel, Abbeyleix on Thursday 11 April at 9.30 pm sharp. Table of 4 €20. Please support this worthy cause.

Brigidine convent Abbeyleix class of 1975 – 1980 reunion on 6 April in the Manor hotel Abbeyleix.
Anyone who attended the Brigidine’s during those 5 years should have received their invitation. It’s the first reunion for these ladies so there is plenty to catch up on.
