Once again it’s time for the annual 5K in Courtwood. The fourth year of the AAI approved event, starting at 11 am on Sunday 1st June from the local GAA grounds, will offer a lovely scenic walk or run over 5K along a beautiful canal side route. The start and finish will offer toilets and changing facilities and there is loads of parking. Top class hospitality guaranteed after the race with tea/coffee/sandwiches for all. Prizes in all categories will be presented immediately after the run and the local family fun day will follow for the afternoon so it’s an ideal opportunity to get out for a bit of exercise early in the day and then enjoy the atmosphere for the rest of the day.
