Clean Up Laois Week was a great success with 68 bags of rubbish taken from the Clonaslee area. Thanks to CE Scheme, young workers, Scoil Bhríde students, those who did the main roads, Pat Fenlon who litter picks every morning and all who helped. Be vigilant about litter and use bins provided for litter and cigarette butts, as national judging starts in June. Congrats to Castlecuffe NS on their fourth green flag. Best wishes to Scoil Bhríde in aiming for their second flag. Work evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting from Heritage Centre 6pm.
