SUMMER FUN DAY
The Rock summer fun day is on Sunday August 2 at 2pm. Juvenile football tournaments on inflatable pitch, bouncing castles, novelty stalls, kids animal corner and more. Free admission, all welcome.

LATE UNA BROPHY
There was much grief at the death of Una Brophy (née Reddin) at her home in Bay Road on Saturday July 11. Una was predeceased by her husband Liam on March 21 of this year. A most kindly person, Una will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Remains reposed at her residence until removal on Tuesday morning to St Joseph’s Church. Requiem Mass was celebrated at noon with burial afterwards to St Joseph’s cemetery. Una is mourned by her son Michael, daughters Anne, Noeleen and Collette, family, relatives and friends to whom the sincere sympathy of the community is extended.
