The death has occurred of Mary Doheny Redcastle, Mountrath, Co. Laois and formerly of Attanagh, Co Laois.

Widow of the late Dan Doheny she was originally from Skerry, Rosenallis, Co Laois and resided in Attanagh for almost thirty years.

Mary was a popular and much loved person who will be dearly remembered for her good and kindly nature to all who came in contact with her.

Mary was a treasure as a neighbour who would carry out a good turn in the drop of a hat with a smile.

Removal took place from her residence on Tuesday, April 22 to St Fintan’s Church, Mountrath for mass.

The funeral proceeded afterwards to Ballyouskill via Attanagh for burial.

Mary is mourned by her son Denis and daughter Ursula; brothers Patrick and Donal; uncle Dan Dunne; nieces, grandchildren, son in law John Scannell and daughter in law Cateriona, relatives and friends to whom we extend deepest sympathy.
