tHE 2012 season of steam train rides on the narrow guage heritage railway at Stradbally Hall will begin on Easter Sunday and Monday, April 7 and 8.
On both days trains will run as often as required between 1.30pm and 4.30pm.
There is easy access to the railway from Main Street, Stradbally. Special signs will be on display to guide first time visitors.
Trains will be operated by the 1949 built steam locomotive. The passengers wlil be able to experience the unique blend of sights, sounds and smells which only a genuine coal fired steam engine can create.
The line takes a winding route among some of the mature trees which surround the Stradbally Hall estate.
The line has been operated and maintained by a small team of volunteers since 1969/
