A series of folklore cds covering all aspects of the social history of Laois are available to borrow from the library.

There was a good turnout at the registration night for the coming year’s music classes. Classes return from tonight Tuesday September 16. Hospice Coffee Morning
Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning to support hospice care takes place on Thursday September 18. All monies raised in Laois go directly to Laois Hospice. Laois Hospice is asking people in workplaces, homes and local organisations to host a coffee morning and collect a donation from their guest for each cup of coffee provided. Laois Hospice Foundation is totally voluntary, depending on the good will of the public to maintain and expand hospice services.
