Borris-in-Ossory Santa Claus Club recently presented a cheque to the local Social Services committee which was very much appreciated.
The Social Services provide many services in the area including meals on wheels, laundry, chiropody, monthly bingo parties, outings and hospital visitations when allowed.
Present for the handover of the cheque were Marion Carey, Sr. Regina Delaney and Eileen Daly (Social Services) and Brendan Foyle, Canice Sheeran and David Gray (Santa Claus Club).
