CLUB LE CHEILE VINTAGE CAR AND TRACTOR RUN
Club Le Cheile are holding a Vintage Car & Tractor Run on 16th September at 11am in Timahoe Co Laois. Club Le Cheile is a voluntary group which organise social eveningd for people with special needs and those socially marginalizec. Camross Vintage Club held their annual Field Day Sunday last, it was a great success. There will be an Irish Heritage Night in the Poets Cottage Camross on Thursday night 23.08.12 at 8pm. All are welcome.

The death took place on Tuesday last of John Cuddy Bacca in his 94th year. Johnny was the last of a big family, he was predeceased by his brothers Joe, Martin and Patrick his sisters Nora Moylan, Mary and Maggie. He was also predeceased by his wife. He is mourned by his family Breda, Ger, John, Joe and Martin.
His funeral Mass took place on Friday in St Fergals Church Camross and he was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetry.

There was a well attended meeting in the ICA House, Mountmellick on Thursday, August 16th. A minutes silence was held for former member, Johnny McKane RIP from Drummond. This year’s tour will be to Cobh, visiting the Titanic Experience, Museum, Heritage Centre and Cathedral. The bus will commence picking up in Mountmellick at 8am and will continue on through Rosenallis, Clonaslee and Kinnity.
