2013 commenced with record numbers descending on Castlecomer for the 33rd annual wellies race. Blessed with a dry sunny day and a magnificent turnout of vintage machinery along with some modern show pieces the parade drew favourable comments from the large number of visitors. Several club members togged out in a variety of different type of wellingtons to go in the 4 mile run along with hundreds from all over the country and beyond. Some in for the crack and others giving it plenty of wellie. In general a good day all round
