RAHEEN CHOIR

New members of all ages needed for Raheen choir for the special occasion of the re-dedication of our parish church on Sunday 23 March. Choir rehearsals will began on Tuesday February 18 at the Red Cross Centre, Raheen. We extend a particular welcome to any members of Shanahoe choir who would like to join us for this occasion.

ICA

Laois week in An Grianán takes place from 16 - 20 June. Courses available include cookery, dancing, fabric boxes, Assissi Embroidery, bets and bits, photography, pamper me, aromatherapy and encaustic art. Places are open to members and non members. DAFFODIL DAY

Daffodil Day this year takes place on Friday March 28 and organisers in the Borris in Ossory area would welcome more volunteers to help sell the daffodils. If anyone has an hour to spare on Daffodil Day or any day that week, please contact Lily Sheeran at 0505-41308 or Stella Kealy at 0505-41391.

ST FINTAN’S GAELS

St Fintan’s Gaels calendars for 2014 are now available at a cost of 10 euro each from John Sinnott or Seamus Lahart.
