The Monthly Meeting of Clough ICA was held on Thursday February 20 in Clough Hall. A vote of Sympathy was passed with Kathleen Walsh and the Relatives of Mary Phelan. Get Well wishes were extended to Mary Hyland and Bridget Bergin. Correspondence was read about Laois Week in on Grianan from June 16 to 20. Irish Night in the Gandon Inn on March 14. Also Laois Federation Dinner in Gandon on April 11. Seames Brennan attended and gave a very interesting talk on Gardening and Landscaping he answered many queries on landscaping from the members. Raffle winners Kathleen Broderick Kathleen Walsh Kathleen Mc Evoy. Competition For March (Old Newspaper). Next Meeting on Marsh 13.

Clough Ballacolla GAA Club 2014 Annual Membership now due. Range of options available (A) Single membership €50 for all players Senior down to minor plus committee members (B) €180 Single Membership and Laois GAA club monster draw ticket with €100,000 in prizes. (C) Pay €5 week Family Membership and two tickets in Laois club draw. (D) €130 Laois GAA draw ticket and associate membership. All the above come with a membership sticker

50/50 Draw

Well done to Shauna Phelan Farreen Cross who won €100 in last Saturday February 22 draw and will now draw the Joker in the Hawthorn Bar on Saturday 1st March. Club Representatives who will help with the draw are Eoin Meade Willie Dunphy and Barry Hyland.

Well Done

To St Fergals College who beat Enniscorthy (St Marys) 3.11 to 1.05 in Thomastown on Saturday 22 in the Leinster SHC B final. They will now meet Dublin opposition in two weeks time. Congrats to all Clough Ballacolla players on panel


Meeting and Cookery Demonstration in St Patricks hall Ballacolla on this Wednesday March 5 from 2.30 to 4.30 all welcome.

Jackpot €7800 was not won Jackpot on Monday March 3. It will be €8000. Numbers drawn were 6 9 16 19, tickets can be got in local shops or from committee members.
