Donate your scrap metal to the collection!

Clonaslee wants to covert the scrap metal you don't into a new community amenity.

The ever enterprising community in the Slieve Blooms have issued a call out to for donations of scrap and some times of electrical goods for a collection being held in aid of the continued development of the GAA grounds, walking track and juvenile pitch.

 Items can be dropped off or collection can be arranged.

The following items are what they need:

  • dishwashers,
  • washing machines,
  • driers,
  • electric cookers,
  • metal pipes,
  • ventilation systems,
  • electronic parts,
  • cables,
  • copper tanks,
  • pipework,
  • stainless steel,
  • aluminium,
  • lead batteries,
  • bicycles (no tyres),
  • cars,
  • exercise equipment,
  • treadmills,
  • rowing machines.
