‎Port Cfrgroup

The Portarlington 1st Responders would like to thank Jimmy’s Bar Main Street who presented us with €522 which they raised at their race night. We are very grateful to them, as this will go towards equipment we need to keep training new recruits. A massive thanks to everyone who fundraised for us in the last year. With all this equipment we can maintain the group’s skills and get out into the community and give others the skills that may potentially save a life. In 18 months we’ve gone from a town with no public access defibrillator to a town with three (one on the square garage and two more coming soon) and with 24/7 community based volunteers to help when needed and now the ability to train our local groups too. Massive well done to everybody. Keep up the good work. Check out our Facebook page or e-mail pfr@portarlington.ie
