The club would like to wish our senior club players Marion O’Grady, Sarah Cuddy, Karen Cuddy, Eimear Delaney, Laura Dunne, Grace O Neill and Sharon Moylan together with all the Laois players, trainers and management the very best of luck on September 15 in Croke Park in the Junior All Ireland Final. Well done to the players who were on the Laois U16 panel narrowly beaten by Meath in the U16 All Ireland Final Arleen Cleere, Niamh Cross, Sarah Creagh, Jennifer Galbraith, Grainne Hyland, Holly Kilcar and Aisling O Dea. Our under 8s and under 10s had a wonderful season taking part in blitz over the summer. Our final blitz day is taking place in Abbeyleix on Saturday Sept 7 where all players will be presented with a certificate. A big thank you to all mentors for their wonderful commitment all year.

SCOUTS OPEN NIGHT
There will be an open night for 2nd Laois Rathdowney Scout Group on Wednesday Sept 11, in the Marion Centre at 8pm. Parents/Guardians are invited to come along and register their child for Beavers (boys and girls ages 6,7 & 8). Cubs (boys and girls ages 9,10 & 11).

Tickets sales for the Presentation Secondary School Thurles Reunion Gathering event closes today. A cheese and wine reception followed by a hot fork buffet will be provided on the day.
