“Concerned Residents of Spink are holding a meeting in Knock Hall, Spink on Friday 6th September 2013 at 8pm to inform people about the proposed industrial wind farm for the Spink/Ballinakill area which has gone for planning permission. Please attend this important meeting.
The Ballinakill Active Retirement will resume after the summer on Wednesday 11th @1pm. New members welcome. We are looking for new volunteers to help with the lunch, if you think you can spare a few hours once a month and become part of a team, we would be delighted to have you. Recently we had our annual tour, and a good day was had by all. We travelled to the Delta Centre in Carlow, and had a guided tour of the magnificent gardens before availing of lunch. Then on for a guided tour of Carlow County Museum. We then travelled to Tullow to the Chocolate Garden, where we all created a chocolate train, then back to Seven Oaks Hotel for our evening meal. Ballinakill Parent and Toddler group resumes on Thursday 12th September from 9.30 - 11.30 in the Old School Community Hall. New members always welcome.
Walkers meet every morning at 9.30 am in the square for a walk around the Tea Rooms up to Heywood Gardens. All Welcome
Bingo continues every Monday night in the hall on the square at 8.30 pm. Over €1,200 in prize money, also a raffle on the night. Come along for a night out and a laugh.

Knock NS Parents Associations are holding a “Threshing Day” in Knock Community GAA field on Sunday the 15th of September. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
