The Committee have now completed its 5 core fundraisers- Coffee Mornings, Table Quiz, Raffle, Golf Classic & Auction. Each of us were affected in some way by this tragedy and it was palpable the willingness of so many people to do something to lessen our sense of helplessness for the Treacy family. We as a Committee express our sincere gratitude to the people of Portarlington, Stradbally, Tullamore and further afield for your generosity. Community spirit is alive and well, and in challenging economic times, people are still most generous and caring. Ronan, Gillian, Sean & Caoimhe and their extended families have found comfort and consolation from the huge public expression of Sympathy. They have repeatedly requested the committee to say thank you to all from the bottom of their broken hearts. We will now commence shutting down our Facebook page and close the fundraising account. However we hope we have created a lasting and an iconic image of little Ciarán chasing bubbles, and that it may occasionally prompt you to utter a small prayer for the repose of his soul and remember his grieving parents & family.
