SCOIL BHRIDE NEWS
Congrats to the pupils of Fifth and sixth class who received the Sacrament of Confirmation in St Manmans church on March 24. The ceremony was attended by Bishop Denis Nulty. With the Cumann na mBunscol Boys’ Football Roinn 3 Title safely tucked away earlier this year, the school hurling and camogie teams have commenced training in advance of competitions starting soon after Easter Holidays. The overhaul of our Sensory/ Prayer Room is taking shape and we hope to have it fully complete on our return to classes after the Easter Holidays. This room is named after Mrs Kathleen Ryan who taught at our school for many years prior to her retirement. A woman of great faith with a special dedication to children, SBC has many fond memories of Kathleen who continues to visit regularly.
