Sean Flanagan from Tinnahinch has recorded some very interesting history and stories of the area, the life and times of the people and how they lived. The Clears were the last family to leave their house in The Cones in 1962 and as a result The Cones was deserted. On the other hand the Battle of Tinnahinch in 1691 wiped out Tinnahinch village.
