The death took place on Thursday 26 April at Midlands Regional Portlaoise of Michael Dooley Castle Avenue Borris-in-Ossory. Reposing at his residence removal on Saturday morning to St Canice’s Church Borris-in-Ossory for funeral mass Celebrated by Rev Fr Jackie Robinson PP, Dean Seamus McEvoy, Rev Fr Fr Dunphy Urlingford, Fr Hennessey Castletown, Fr John Egan, burial afterwards in St Canice’s cemetery Borris-in-Ossory, A guard of honour was formed by Borris-in-Ossory GAA club and O’Brien Hall committee. Michael was involved in many activities in the community, and always willing to help everyone. He is deeply by his loving wife Una, his sons Michael and David, his daughters Caroline and Elaine, grand-daughter Rayanne, brother Joe, sisters Peg and Bride, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

The death took place suddenly at his residence on Saturday April 21 of Liam Brophy Killadooley Ballybrophy in his 92nd year. His remains were removed from O’Sullivans funeral home Rathdowney on Wednesday evening to the Church of the Assumption Killasmeestia, with funeral mass on Thursday morning celebrated by Dean Seamus McEvoy and Rev Fr Jackie Robinson PP. Liam was a very well known caracter, he had many interests in life and lived life to the full. He is deeply regretted by his sister Betty, UK, his nephews, niece, cousins, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace.
